Airflo
Skagit Intermediate Compact
Great Lakes steelhead anglers identified the need for a line that would cast and fish like the Airflo Skagit Compact, but avoid all the surface hydraulics caused by irregular bottom structures. During development and testing it proved to be a great addition to the West Coast salmon and steelhead anglers arsenal also. No longer do you have to deal with tumultuous surface currents fighting the floating portion of your Skagit System. The Airflo Skagit Intermediate Compact gets below the surface and into more even, mid-strata flows, allowing for a smoother more direct fly presentation and solid control of the swing.
Two-tone in color, the intermediate front taper and belly sections are transparent Blue Heron Gray, and the 4′ floating back taper is Scandi Blue for easy line tracking. Featuring Airflo’s PolyFuse technology, low stretch PowerCore for direct contact and solid hook set, industry leading Flexi-loops at both ends, and easy to read head size designation. Skagit casting anglers will benefit from this line no matter where they fish.
