I’m not quite sure how long the Orvis Guide Sling pack has been available but I’ve had mine for about 6 months or so and have been using it quite often – not for trout – but for carping at my local lakes, ponds and streams. Once I figured out how to use it (if all else fails read the instructions), I fell in love with it. It’s extremely comfortable, easy to manipulate and it holds a ton of stuff which is easy to get to when needed. I know this pack will be a boone while wading marine flats for bonefish and other fly-rod critters. If you’ve been considering a sling pack I urge you to check out the Orvis Guide sling pack ~ Dan Blanton
