SGG's instructional guiding program is one of the finest in the
western United States. Our on the
water instruction program accelerates the learning curve and allows
fly fishers to learn in a hands
on environment. We guarantee you'll improve your fly fishing
success. Trout Scouts, McKenzie Guide Service and Classic Anglers,
working as Sierra Guide Group, provide guided angling opportunities
and instruction in the Sierras that include: East Walker River,
Green Creek and Bridgeport Basin and most waters south to Hot Creek
and the Owens River in Bishop and Inyo County. All of our guides are
Licensed by California.
Classic Anglers, in Big Pine, CA are now offering
private instruction in casting: entry level to advanced problem
solving as well as private tying classes for the 98/99' season. Call
or e-mail for rates and class availability.
PRIVATE WATER
We now offer our clients exclusive access to the Sierra's finest
private trout fishery: The Reid Ranch. The ultimate in on the water
learning experience with rainbows and browns to 15 pounds. See our
SGG web site below for this year's scheduled programs on the Reid
Ranch. Limited to 4 rods for guided fishing and limited groups for
classes.
