Saltwater Guide Service Washington’s majestic Puget Sound offers exceptional saltwater fly fishing for Pacific salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout. Join Captain Tom Wolf for a first class fishing experience amid the spectacular scenery of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Range. Enjoy rowing along rocky shorelines sight casting to feeding silver salmon, fall flats style sight fishing for adult silver, king ,pink and chum salmon. Or skating dries for native sea-run cutthroat trout. The inland waters of Puget Sound are well protected with numerous inlets, bays and harbors. The flat water makes for easy casting and the 17 ft. Alumaweld Stryker gives plenty of room and a steady platform. The open boat is a custom rigged, tiller driven modified-V with both a 40 hp. and a 6 hp. Mercury.. With hundreds of areas to launch from I follow the fish year round and minimize long run times. I have designed my boat to row two anglers comfortably, each casting at the same time. The water clarity of Puget Sound averages about 30 ft. Floating and
intermediate sinking clear lines with a 6wt. rod will handle most any thing we
encounter. 4wt. rods are great for the sea-run cutts and resident coho during
winter. My trip includes, rods, reels, lines, leaders, flies and
thoughtful instruction to help provide you a great day on the water. Full
day trips include a deli-style lunch, drinks and snacks. February, March, April: resident silvers, sea - run cutts. May, June, July: sea - run cutts, resident silvers. August, September, October: migratory and resident silvers, chinooks, pinks (odd years) chum, sea-run cutts. November, December, January: migratory and resident silvers, chum, sea-run cutts. Full day trip price - $400.00 based on 10 hrs of
fishing. Lunch provided. 2 anglers max. I am United States Coast Guard licensed, Washington State licensed, fully insured and First Aid certified. My 25 years in the outfitting and guiding business gives me the confidence that I can custom tailor your trip to fit the needs of your friends, family or business clientele.
