Dan Blanton has been photographing the outdoors, general angling and fly fishing for more than two decades. Being one of the most experienced and diverse fly fishing angler/journalists in the world, Dan's files are extensive, containing superb images of fly fishing and general angling action covering both freshwater and saltwater species ranging from panfish to billfish. The list of species include: bluegill and others, all the bass species, trout, steelhead, Pacific salmon, pike, lake trout, all of the most popular saltwater species, flats to bluewater - both coasts of North America, Central America and northern South America. If you can take it on a fly, Dan probably has a photo(s) of it. Additionally, having majored in fine arts, Dan is an excellent still life photographer. His images of popular fly patterns, particularly with regard to saltwater flies, are outstanding.
